Unlike traditional financial portals, we do not monetize your personal information through advertising or data brokerage. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use MoneySense Pro.
Data We Collect
Account Information
If you choose to sign up for a Pro account, we collect your email address and profile name via Google or Email Authentication to create and manage your account.
Subscription Data
Payments are processed securely via Creem. We do not store your credit card details on our servers; we only receive a confirmation of your subscription status.
Calculation History
For Pro users, we store your saved calculations (e.g., specific loan or salary scenarios) to allow for cross-device syncing. This data is visible only to you and is never shared with third parties.
How We Use Your Data
Local Calculation Processing
Whenever technically feasible, calculation logic is executed on your local device (client-side). Your specific inputs for calculators - such as your salary, loan amount, or bill total - are not logged by our analytics tools unless you explicitly click 'Save to History.'
History Sync for Pro Users
For Pro users, saved calculations are synced to our secure database (Neon PostgreSQL) to enable cross-device access. This data is encrypted and accessible only to you.
No Data Selling
We never sell, rent, share, or use your financial inputs for advertising purposes or any commercial purpose beyond providing the MoneySense Pro service.
Data Retention
We retain your account information only as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data - including saved calculations - is permanently purged from our servers within 30 days.
GDPR & CCPA Compliance
We strive to comply with global privacy standards including GDPR and CCPA. You have the right to access, correct, export, or permanently delete your data at any time through your dashboard settings or by contacting us at support@moneysensepro.app.
